Primary Application
Wiremesh Plywood for Trailer and Truck Flooring
In transport applications, the floor is the most demanding surface. It must withstand concentrated loads from forklifts, rolling cargo, heavy pallets and continuous mechanical wear while providing safe loading conditions for operators.

Transport Applications

Heavy Trailers & Semi-Trailers
The most demanding flooring application. Semi-trailer cargo floors must withstand forklift traffic, concentrated point loads from pallet jacks, rolling containers and continuous abrasion from loaded cargo. Wiremesh plywood in 27–30 mm thickness provides the structural strength and surface durability required for long-distance logistics operations.

Truck Bodies & Box Trucks
Commercial truck body floors face similar challenges to trailer floors but often with more frequent loading cycles in urban delivery operations. The anti-slip surface helps secure cargo during transit and provides safe footing for loading personnel. Typical thickness range: 18–27 mm depending on vehicle design.

Light Trailers & Utility Trailers
Smaller trailers used for equipment transport, landscaping, construction materials and general utility benefit from anti-slip plywood floors. Lower thickness panels (12–18 mm) may be suitable depending on the support structure and expected loads.

Horseboxes & Livestock Transport
Specialised transport for horses and livestock requires flooring that provides secure footing for animals while withstanding moisture, cleaning chemicals and concentrated hoof loads. Anti-slip plywood provides a stable, cleanable surface.

Mobile Workshops & Service Vehicles
Vehicles converted for mobile workshops, service operations and equipment storage need durable, slip-resistant floors that withstand tool drops, chemical spills and heavy equipment. Wiremesh plywood provides practical working surfaces.

Equipment & Special Trailers
Trailers designed for specific equipment such as generators, compressors, construction machinery or event equipment benefit from anti-slip plywood floors that secure loads and simplify maintenance.
Commercial Benefits for Transport Operators
Durable Working Surface
Phenolic coating resists abrasion from forklifts, pallet jacks and rolling cargo
Loading Safety
Anti-slip texture helps prevent cargo movement and provides secure footing
Wear Resistance
Designed for continuous mechanical wear from concentrated and rolling loads
Structural Strength
Cross-bonded birch construction provides high load-bearing capacity
Easier Maintenance
Smooth phenolic surface is easy to clean and does not absorb liquids
Long Service Potential
Properly installed panels provide extended service life under normal conditions
Weight Efficiency
High strength-to-weight ratio helps optimise vehicle payload capacity
Product Selection
Multiple thickness and film options for different vehicle designs and requirements
Thickness Selection Guide
Final panel selection must be based on the specific vehicle design, support spacing, expected loads and required technical performance. The following provides general guidance only.
| Application | Typical Thickness | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Heavy semi-trailers | 27–30 mm | Depends on cross-member spacing |
| Standard truck bodies | 18–27 mm | Based on vehicle design and load type |
| Light trailers | 12–18 mm | Support structure dependent |
| Horseboxes | 18–24 mm | Concentrated hoof loads |
| Mobile workshops | 15–21 mm | Equipment weight and traffic |
Important Installation Note
Phenolic-coated surfaces improve resistance to moisture and wear. When panels are cut, drilled or machined, all exposed edges and openings must be properly resealed with a compatible edge-sealing system. Correct installation and maintenance are essential for outdoor, scaffolding and playground applications.
